Paul just told me about Wee Shu Min's blog. I was reading some threads in reply to what they thought of her comments, and this is what some guy wrote:
Try going to bishan to see these RI/RJC people. Some will become your MP in 20 years time. Look at their face and you will see the snobbish look they have. Simply said, they give people the feeling - smart but arrogant.Ouch. I did read the entry that she wrote. Apparently, her blog was shut down, but her entry is all over the internet. I think that the stuff she said is completely uncalled for, very very arrogant and, in my opinion, extremely evil. Although I must admit that I feel quite sorry that she is receiving so much bad publicity when her A levels are
just around the corner.
As if people don't hate Rafflesians enough, she had to come and rub salt into the wound. It is quite painful to hear that people think that ALL Rafflesians are stuck up and arrogant, because when I was there, most, if not all of the people I met were among the most wonderful people I have come across in my entire life. :) We do try to improve the Raffles image to others not from the schools, but people like Shu Min seem to be making our efforts futile. :(
