I think i'm not going for BS104 :D Jia Li has not messaged me, so I assume she's still sleeping hee hee.
i'm reading the picture of dorian gray now and it's a really interesting book! :) Lord Henry really is a character.. and Basil is just damn gay. I haven't read much about Dorian because I'm only on the 4th chapter, but from Oscar Wilde's description, he sounds like a Greek god, and nothing like Stuart Townsend in LXG, which I watched with Liu Rui and Xin and.. someone else I can't remember. oops ;) but anyway, if I'm not wrong, it's set in the 19th century.. I think. I vaguely remember something like that, so yes, and then that caused me to think about how, in that time (i think in that time), men used to challenge each other to duels. and I find it highly entertaining that they used to use a glove and slap each other across the face and declare, "I challenge you to a duel!" it's not so much the words, it's the action. I am looking at this in a modern context, and I'm sure then if that were to happen in front of ladies, it would elicit a gasp of shock, horror, what have you. But if somehow i were transported back in time, and I saw that, I would just burst out laughing because it looks so.. gay.
Just my 2 cents worth on slapping people with a glove. :)
