i've been blogging a lot lately. bleh. there's something wrong with blogger. my taggy isn't showing up and i'm pissed.
anyway, i went to donate blood today! :) i went to sbs and waited for jia li in the lobby then we went to the student activities centre to donate blood. we waited for so long! that stupid contraption that pricks your finger to draw a small amount (i was about to say aliquot.. haha chem) of blood hurts like hell. i wonder how mama could stand it when we poked her finger 3 times a day to test her blood sugar. -.- :) but they had cute round band aids. hah. so we waited together and then it was our turn!
the seat that i had to sit on was disgusting though. i think some guy sat on it before me because the seat was wet with sweat. -.- it was so gross. :( anyway, they gave me this little pumpkin squeezing ball which is so cute! and the needle they used to inject some liquid - i think it may have been painkillers - was quite painful. but then when i saw the needle that came after that i was thankful for the painkillers, if that was what the liquid was. :) my blood came out quite quickly so i'm quite thankful for that :) but i felt so woozy after the thing was over. thank God for the milo and sesame biscuits. :) now i'm typing with a bright pink bandage on my arm. :)
i still remember the last time i wanted to donate blood. that was a very enjoyable time for me :) yup.. anyway, i need to go take my bandage off :) and go for french! yay :)
