hai.. shun ling is gone. =( had a very sad farewell yesterday. after alumni and a rather "short" (hee hee) exco meeting where hanzhong was trying to maximise his 1 hr and 15 mins, pei xuan hui yan tse min and i rushed down to the airport and had dinner there. then clarine joined us then we went to see marlin! then nic came.. and that's all the rgssb people there. then 208 society minus vivvy who's already in london came!! then there were some of shun ling's church or school friends there then we all took photos!! and shun ling's mother is so cute! :) but hai.. i'm going to miss you a lot shun!!! :( then after this it'll be nic.. can't imagine already.. so many people have gone off and it's just so painful to see them walk through the glass door. i was talking to xiaotzes last night and she told me that it'll be my turn soon.. and i was like.. oh yeah. about 4 more months i think. i'll be applying for my visa in 2 or 3 weeks. gosh time really flies..
church was nice today. :) kinda sad i didn't go for the feast day mass. ugh i'm in a funny mood again. somehow i have a feeling that i'm never going to get married. maybe i'm just meant to be a cranky old doctor.. gosh i hope not. :) i'm going to be 20 in 5 months!! ahhhhh!! someone once told me that in uni, all the girls start looking out for their life partners. and my reaction was !? alarming.. but seriously, life is really moving too fast now. i still remember back in secondary school home econs, oafie and i used to burn everything and how in science practicals, lorenda almost blew up the whole lab because she turned the wrong gas tap on. HAHA. those were such wonderful times.. but i dont' think i have any photos of lower sec class except for the class photo. :( and i look like a hippo.
the other night i went for a walk with nic. (I LOVE NIC!! :)) and we met meng jun! and apparently his mother remembers me!! from some pre kindergarten school that both our parents sent us to. and she said i was fat last time. but yeah.. it was some zhong xiang hui guan or something like that. mom kept on sending me to all these schools that placed larger emphasis on chinese.. like zhong xiang, newton life (which i transferred to after marymount because marymount wasn't "chinese" enough), St Nicks (which happens to be the only IJ school with a chinese school song.. and how she made me join chinese speech and drama.. wth) and.. well, the conclusion that eunice and i have drawn is: some good that did. look at our chinese standard now. and this is what the exchange was like:
mom / well, your chinese could be worse..
me / it cannot POSSIBLY be worse..
haha good times. hai.. i miss shun ling..
