i'm feeling quite sleepy today and a little lousy. i think it's because it's a rainy day. i think it's more likely attributed to the fact that eunice flew off to sydney today. i went to see her off at the airport.. terminal one. when i stepped in and saw all the ac band members hanging around and people coming late, ie after the stipulated meeting time, there was such a strong feeling of nostalgia hitting me that i almost wanted to cry. everyone was taking photos, standing around and stuff. the funny thing was that they all showed up in their official band u to take photos. -.- but it was nice nonetheless. :)
i still remember on that morning, i brought extra shirts and towels to stuff my instrument case so that the tuba wouldn't move around. alex and holas did too so we were just opening cases and undoing raffia to stuff the bell area. then amir and yee sheng were running around with huge rolls of raffia and making sure everyone's cases were properly tied up. :) it was such a chaotic afternoon.. but so much fun. :)
we checked in and then we took the band photo with the banner that had singapore spelled as singapoe. :) ac had a really nice banner that had something like 17th Australian band competition written across it and it was colourful and i was so so so sad because i miss everyone so much!!!! :( all my dear batchmates. boris and hui ying went along for the trip as well and i was thinking that if i went to ac, i could go on this trip too.. but then, for me, it wouldn't compare to rjcsb. :) because i loved my experience in rj. i miss ireland, paris, london!!
my emotions right now are all messed up. i'm happy yet sad.. to sum it all up, today is a confusing day. :) but what i'm sure of is that i love my batch.. -hugs-
