results are out and i am so relieved and most of all, grateful. the whole day (and the day before that.. well starting from the day i knew my results were coming out on the 1st) was terrible because i was so anxious.
on wednesday, since my index number is somewhere at the back, i had to wait while ms koh handed out everyone's results and testimonial. people like adeline and clarence were in front of me, which was stressful enough. :( naturally they got their 4 As and i was really happy for them but i was so like -bounce bounce- then came my turn and i looked at my result sheet. U for maths S can.. but heck i'm not that upset about it. and shockingly, merit for chem S. :D hee hee. i didn't really react until later when i found pei xuan. then i hugged her so hard. and i started to cry :) she did AWESOMELY. :) hee. so proud of her. :)
i want to dedicate this entry to those who have helped me along, encouraged me and stuff. :) To God, who gave me strength, perserverance, love, friends to support me, my family to support me, wonderful teachers, once-in-a-lifetime opportunites. All this is possible because of You. You have given me hope as well and i'm so so thankful for all You've done for me. Thank you so much. :) I love You!!
To my family, for driving me to my breaking point at times. :) I'm sorry for losing my temper and for giving your stress because i know that you did this all for me. For always putting snacks in my room so that I have food when I study :) and for buying that hot water kettle in case I needed my coffee rush :) thank you for the little things. They made a world of difference. :)
To my teachers!!! Ms Koh, Ms Lee, Ms Hor, Mr Raufie, Ms Ho!!! Thanks so much for the effort!! I know I've made you want to pull out your hair more than a few times, especially Ms Ho for my GP. Ms Lee, thanks for always having faith in me. You have helped me bring me chem from a D to an A! :) and I'm so so thankful. You have been totally patient and showed nothing but care towards us. Ms Koh, for always buying food for us. :) hee you knew us so well!! :) haha. but thanks for not turning me down everytime i had questions to ask even though you had better things to do :D Ms Hor!! for all the weekends you came down and sat down with me to go over papers and give us model answers and stuff like that. For your time and everything.. for being such a fun, sweet teacher. Love ya! :) Mr Raufie, for making physics more fun and amusing.. and although i still hate the subject, i hate it less!!! :) "there are 3 levels of brightness of a bulb.." but my most value added subject..GP!!! :D Ms Ho!! Thanks so so much!! Without your constant scoldings and lecturings and your marking my lousy essays and giving me highly demoralising marks (I mean this in the best possible way) I would never have gotten what I did.. thank you. :D
MY FRIENDS!! :D all those who studied with me after school, saturdays and even sundays!! Paul and Darryl with their "I DWEAMMMMMM!!" that echoed down the hall with the chat rooms. Tze Hui with her classroom she always took over. The councellors, tm, paula, hy, hy, xy :) always in the canteen studying :) geri and desmond who would pop their heads into the chat room to say hi and take my mind off stress. Pei Xuan and her quiet corners around the school.. how she found them i can never imagine.. i always landed up in the noisy ones. -.- and for all those i didn't mention or forgot, i'm sorry. but i thank you so much.. for the laughter and everything. Stress relief. :)
I really treasure my life in RJ. It's hard to believe that this chapter of my life is closed. It was so short!! RG was wonderful.. RJ life was too short. If I could, i would relive J1 all over again.. with Ireland and all. Really really love all my friends. I have no regrets in going to RJ and I thank God that He has allowed me to meet them all. My life would be emptier without them.
