i just finished a book The Summer House by Jude Deveraux. the way she writes is so amazing.. but i was more intrigued by the story. it was just so sweet.. i almost cried. :) but the minute i picked it up at woodlands library and read the back, i knew that i had to read it. i'm a sucker for time travel romance stories. haha. i still remember last time when isabel lent me my first trashy romance novel. haha can't even remember the title, just that it was really quite gross. all the 2 people seemed to be interested in was jumping on top of each other. -laughs- then after that she introduced me to Judith McNaught, who, may i say, is excellent as well. haha. then after that she pretty much influenced a whole group of people to start reading romance novels. haha. but not shun ling.. especially not shun ling :) she called it reading porn ;) damn hilarious. nah but i think that these kind of novels are nicer.. as in the sweet romance.. not that one that is full of action ;) HAH. ok anyway, a bit gross. it was so heartwrenching.. OOH. can't stand it :)
i had a very funny conversation with clarine the other day. actually it wasn't much of a conversation, but more like a few funny words exchanged. she was talking about touring europe after a levels. if i'm not wrong, we wanted to do it as a batch. but then she was saying that after some thought, she deserved better since a levels are complete hell.. so she decided to tour the world :) haha was highly amused, but she's right. a levels are hell and we do deserve a good break.
i slept a total of 3 hours last night... liu rui, hui yan and osh didn't sleep at all haha. :) chalet was quite fun. walked around downtown east with paul for a few hours, then we decided to sit down at the macs at just talk. it was really nice. the weather was quite cool. not cool just quite.. and we started talking about a lot of stuff. did you know that in armageddeon, harry asked the government officials whether they knew who killed kenny? :) just some trivia for today. when we got back to the chalet, we went to sleep at 3 and got up at around 4 because it was damn hot and a bit noisy. i was feeling really gross because i went to the bbq with no intention of staying overnight, but i did anyway, without anything to bathe or brush my teeth. but i shall not go into the disugsting details. :) at 4 ish, i was just walking around the chalet. paul went to go play soccer. [what is it with guys and soccer? they were just crowded around the tv and there was a lot of yelling.. because paul scholes scored into his own goal because paulee couldn't control properly. i remember last year, the minute we got to the chalet, bneo sat down in front of the tv, set up his ps and played it for 3 days straight.] and i went to play mahjong. so tai tai my goodness. but i won my first 2 games since i first played in chinese new year last year. so much for beginner's luck :)
hm. ok shall end here. :) i haven't seen some batchmates in AGES and i miss them to bits. mostly my girlfriends :) really really miss the batch.
